Acappella Omaha Chorus is more than just an acapella ensemble, It's a family. We love getting together each week, and sharing friendships as well as great music. WHEN DO WE MEET?
Acappella Omaha rehearses Mondays at 7:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome! A typical rehearsal consists of a half-hour of stretching and choreography review, then a half-hour of vocal warm-ups and a review of any music changes from the previous week, then a two-hour rehearsal with one break for chorus business. The night flies by, and before you know it, it is time to go home with a renewed spirit of friendship and harmony to kick off the week! For more information, call

SOUNDS GREAT! WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Membership in Acappella Omaha is open to female singers ages 13 and up. We recommend attending at least three rehearsals as a visitor, to get familiar with the barbershop style of singing. This will allow those interested in joining to find out which vocal range feels most comfortable. The four parts in barbershop harmony are:
- Tenor - the highest harmony part
- Lead - usually sings melody
- Baritone - harmonizes above and below the melody line
- Bass - the lowest harmony part
