Do you Love to Sing?

Join Us

Acappella Omaha Chorus is more than just an acapella ensemble, it is a family. We love getting together each week, and sharing friendships as well as great music.

If you like to sing, you're invited to visit Acappella Omaha Chorus and discover your INNER DIVA! Sitting in on one of our rehearsals is the perfect way to find out more about us, and what we can do for you!

“When are rehearsals?”
Acappella Omaha rehearses Mondays at 7:00 p.m. at Presbyterian Church of the Master, 10710 Corby Circle (just three blocks south of Maple) in Omaha, Nebraska. Visitors are welcome! A typical rehearsal consists of a half-hour of stretching and choreography review, then a half-hour of vocal warm-ups and a review of any music changes from the previous week, then a two-hour rehearsal with one break for chorus business. The night flies by and before you know it--it’s time to go home with a renewed spirit of friendship and harmony to kick off the week!  For more information, call (402) 932-0155.

"Sounds fun, how do I join?"

Membership in Acappella Omaha is open to female singers ages 13 and up.  We recommend anyone interested in joining to first attend at least three rehearsals as a visitor, to get familiar with the barbershop style of singing, and which vocal range feels most comfortable. The four parts in barbershop harmony consist of:

  • Tenor (the highest harmony part)
  • Lead (usually sings the melody)
  • Baritone  (harmonizes above and below  the melody line)
  • Bass (the lowest harmony part).

If you'd like more information, please call (402) 932-0155!

Women of all ages are invited to attend. For more information, contact our chorus manager at 932-0155. If you're a woman who loves to sing, we'd love to meet you! Our members travel from all over our city to sing with Acappella Omaha Chorus. To quote one of our members, "It's the love of singing that brought me to Acappella Omaha Chorus. It's the enthusiasm, fun and lasting friendships that keep me returning week after week. I love it!" Visit us and find out for yourself!
